I believe Job is the book of our time. Here\u2019s some things to learn from Job:<\/p>\n

  1. He never found out why he suffered as he did.<\/li>\n
  2. His questions were answered with bigger questions.<\/li>\n
  3. His friends had all the answers\u2026 your typically theologically correct ones.<\/li>\n
  4. Job\u2019s suffering is explained as a meaningless bet between God and Satan.<\/li>\n
  5. Satan lost. But so did Job.<\/li>\n
  6. Most often it is better to be silent than to be right.<\/li>\n
  7. The meaning of suffering is hidden from us.<\/li>\n
  8. Don\u2019t be surprised when you are suffering if you are either attacked or abandoned.<\/li>\n
  9. Our minds crave answers. Job finds peace beyond answers.<\/li>\n
  10. All is mystery.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
