Chapter 1: What\u2019s Not Our Business<\/h4>\n

Some things we can do,
\nsome things we can\u2019t.<\/p>\n

We control our opinions,
\ndesires, aversions, and\u2014
\nto be plain\u2014our own emotions.<\/p>\n

We do not control our bodies,
\nour things, or what others think
\nof us to be plain\u2014those things
\nare not our business.<\/p>\n

What happens when you try
\nto take power over what you
\nhave no power over?\u2014Can
\nyou say \u201cfrustration\u201d?\u2014<\/p>\n

Complaints Bother. Finding
\nfault with everything.<\/p>\n

Take power over what
\nyou have power over.
\nThen there\u2019s no resistance.
\nNo \u201cno.\u201d You won\u2019t get hurt.<\/p>\n

Just keep in mind what
\nyou have power over.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t cross the line.
\nIf you forget\u2014if you
\ngo looking for money
\nand power\u2014you might
\nget hurt. At any rate,
\nyou will miss what\u2019s
\nimportant: happiness.<\/p>\n

Freedom.<\/p>\n

Listen: learn what illusion looks like.
\nLearn to say, \u201cHey, that\u2019s an illusion.\u201d
\nLearn to ask: \u201cWhat is in my power?\u201d<\/p>\n
