American Muslim women all over the country cast their ballots for or against candidates this election. The election season was tumultuous, to say the least. \u00a0Despite apparent apathy felt by many voters, the importance of voting was not lost on many American Muslim women.<\/p>\n

American Muslim women hit the polls early on the east coast:<\/p>\n

The 2016 elections are finished. We have a new presidential candidate, and people are either satisfied or dissatisfied with the results. The presence of American Muslim women at the polls across the nation is a testimony to their commitment to having their voices heard.<\/p>\n
