their shepherds\u00a0have led them astray<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>and caused them to roam on the mountains.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nThey wandered over mountain and hill<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>and forgot their own resting place.<\/strong> Jeremiah 50:6<\/span><\/span><\/p>\nThe leadership of Judah was entrusted with the care of her people. But instead of leveraging their influence for the protection and betterment of the people, either through intentional actions or gross negligence, they led their people astray.<\/p>\n
What about the people that look to you for inspiration, guidance, protection and provision? If someone made the charge that \u201cyou have led those you lead astray,\u201d would that charge stick?<\/p>\n
\n- What intentionally are you doing to be an example for Christ to them?<\/li>\n
- How are you \u2018making disciples\u2019 of those entrusted to your care?<\/li>\n
- Do you think about\u00a0how to better those around you, or do your thoughts center around how others can better your life?<\/li>\n
- If your children lived your life 20 years from now, would that make you proud or ashamed?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Everyone is a leader. Everyone has influence. How are you leveraging your influence to care for others? It\u2019s Saturday. You\u2019ve got the day off. What intentionally can you do today?<\/p>\n
Prayer: God, may I intentionally care for, protect and disciple those you have entrusted to my care.
