Quoting Quiverfull: Game of Porn – “Game of Thrones” Is Mind-Rotting Pornography? June 4, 2015

Does this look like porn to you? Screen cap from Game of Thrones – Hardhome battle begins..

by Matt Walsh from The Matt Walsh Blog (linked through Do No Link: No need to give him any clicks towards the overwhelming flood of advertising on his site – beware the zillion popups! )Christians, Now Is Probably A Good Time To Stop Watching “Game of Thrones”

Editor’s note: Matt tries to make the case that “Game of Thrones”  watching is the same as watching pornography, that is is pornography. Clearly he has the same problems keeping away from porn as Michael Pearl seems to have in this week’s article by Bruce Gerencser “Are You A Porno Freak?” What gives Walsh or Pearl the authority to determine for anyone else what we should or should not do? Did anyone really think that the twenty minute long battle at Hardhome was pornographic?

If your stomach is strong enough to handle it Matt also wrote some truly disgusting things about Bruce Jenner’s transition into Caitlyn Jenner and the Vanity Fair cover shoot. There’s been quite a lot in the news this week about Caitlyn Jenner, but most of it has been positive and supportive…and then there is Matt. Personally I thought Caitlyn is very beautiful and it takes real courage to change your life into something that reflects the truest version of the inner you.  – Calling Bruce Jenner a Woman is an Insult to Women (again using Do Not Link)

But that doesn’t change the reality of the situation. GoT might be a well made show, but it’s also a pornographic, morally debased show. The porn and moral debasement aren’t less harmful just because the people who put it all together are exceptionally skilled. If anything, that only make it more harmful.
