What Does Lori Alexander Have in Common With Charles Manson?

Screencap from a YouTube video of the late Charlie Manson of the Manson Family

Actually it’s not just Lori Alexander of The Transformed Wife that has awful things in common with the man who ordered the murders of Sharon Tate and many others. You can substitute any Quiverfull enforcer, like Doug Wilson, or Larry Solomon, spin the wheel and pick some awful historical figure like Hitler, or Jack the Ripper and still come up with something in common.

Several years ago I wrote a piece comparing the beliefs of Charlie Manson with those of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar. This was right before the Megyn Kelly Fox News interview where the Duggars drug out daughters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald to excuse their molester, brother Josh Duggar. Now that I think about it the Duggars in that instant have more in common with the master media manipulator Adolph Hitler than Manson.  Or Kim Jong Un.

Looking at Lori’s recent pieces on teaching women to stay home  where Lori had to reach all the way back to the 1880s to find justification for her teachings. She also had two particular recent pieces on her blog that if you take out the scriptures she’s misused they could have been lifted straight out of Manson’s ramblings to the family. In particular “Called to Suffer”  The other piece tells a story of a lady ordering younger ladies to shut their mouths and say nothing when dealing with men, a lesson Charlie Manson taught as well.

When your theology lines up roughly with that of a serial killer you might want to rethink it.
