<\/a>Another installment of giving better answers to the questions asked at Debi Pearl\u2019s site message board for the book \u2018Preparing To Be A Help Meet\u2019.<\/a> Many young ladies ask questions on all sorts of different subjects brought up by the book. There was just one big problem, many of the answers stray into either the outright bad and emotionally unhealthy to dangerous. Yes, typical Debi Pearl borderline abusive. Here\u2019s what we\u2019re going to be doing here at NLQ. Every week, once or twice a week, I\u2019ll be posting up one of the questions from the message board and ask you, our readers, to answer that poor soul\u2019s question in a way that is logical, rational and the best possible solution, in other words 180 degree turn from Debi and friends answers. As<\/span> always\u00a0 all spelling and grammar in the posting is unchanged from the original author.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\nOkay, on to today\u2019s question:<\/p>\n
Can you like a man without knowing it?<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\n\nTo make a very long story, very short.<\/p>\n
There is a young lady that I have met about 9 months ago and our friendship has been getting closer and closer. About a month after meeting her, I have decided to keep our friendship growing and have decided to pursue her. It seemed like from the very beginning we connected really well and there seemed to be an attraction on both ends.<\/p>\n
A few days ago I have decided to spill the beans and tell the girl how I feel about her and offer to court her if the feelings are mutual and just in case they weren\u2019t, then I decided that it would be best to split our ways. I was very confident that our feelings were mutual. All the signs were there. To my surprise she was very shocked to hear that from me and told me she couldn\u2019t give me an answer.<\/p>\n
After further talking she asked me if it\u2019s possible to like somebody without knowing it after I told her why I thought our feelings were mutual. I was kinda stumped and confused. My understanding is that you either like someone or you don\u2019t. I told her that I will give her time and space for as long as she needs to decide.<\/p>\n
I of course have been praying for this for months and have never felt so confident about pursuing a young lady. But this question has me quite puzzled honestly. Maybe somebody can break it down for me. Thank you and God bless you for taking the time

Now this is a guy asking for advice and most of what he was told was to pray. Then he went on to describe himself and it looks almost more like a \u2018Compliment me\u2019 situation in a \u2018see what a great catch I am?\u2019 sort of way.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s a little about myself. I\u2019m about 6\u20331\u2032, muscular build and workout at the gym 2-3 days outta the week on average. There is a good number of young ladies chasing me around at church and out of church. I am also a youth minister.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Is this even worth responding to with a real answer or is he just trolling for admiration?<\/p>\n
