A photo essay of screen caps taken this morning from a video produced by a very conservative website that claims sending \u2018Good Christian Girls\u2019 off to college produces all sorts of dire things, starting with \u2018defeminization\u2019 and changing your hair style and color. This nonsense is circulating around Facebook this morning. THIS is the kind of stupidity we need to fight every day against!<\/p>\n

Are These Young Woman Warped in Some Way?<\/h4>\n
There is NOTHING wrong with these young ladies in the photos above, either before or after. There\u2019s certainly no clue they are self-harming, depressed or anything else. Coloring your hair, cutting your hair and changing up your wardrobe preferences is no indication of spiritual or emotional state.<\/p>\n
What Causes Extreme Rebellion Against Parental Values?<\/h4>\n
What has been proven to cause radical changes are very restrictive, controlling style parenting that gives teenagers, pre-teens and children zero control over their own choices. Evangelical Christian parenting is more likely to produce depression, rebellion, anxiety and other harms.<\/p>\n
