<\/a><\/p>\nI can assure you that the time the baby possum fell into our washing machine it did not lead me to babbling out my limited knowledge on the nature of possums. We were only concerned with getting him out without being bitten! Sharp teeth.<\/p>\n

Sharing this for sheer silliness sake. Debi tells an unflattering tale of her husband Michael<\/a> before sequing into what she believes homeschooling should look like. Notice two things. One, that Debi never misses an opportunity to pink her husband with embarrassing stories, and all her ideas of learning are apocryphal tales from Mama instead of study from legitimate sources. I guess book lerning dont matter to Debi Pearl.<\/p>\n Debi tale that was followed with ranting about how much she knows about possums being the only way to teach children. I would have followed up the tale with having my children do some research and reading on possums instead.<\/p>\n Then Debi shows off her limited and slightly incorrect possum knowledge as the way you do homeschooling. Haven\u2019t those poor homeschooled kids suffered enough? All this leads me to wonder if this type of limited and possibly wrong learning is going on in most homeschooling families. Certainly this might explain the limitations to the success of the Pearl offspring.<\/p>\n One of the few things I hold in common with Debi is a healthy respect for possums. I\u2019m just grateful she didn\u2019t come up with a possum recipe because I don\u2019t doubt one minute Michael might consider them good eating.<\/p>\n Stay in touch!
