R<\/span><\/b><\/span>ecently, during a break between retreat talks, I was approached by an Asian woman \u2026<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Now, before I continue, I have to tell you a story.<\/span><\/span>\n

At school, one of my kids was recently engaged in a class exercise to reveal certain stereotypes.\u00a0 The activity required one student to have a classification of a people or person taped to their head \u2013 which only their partner could see.\u00a0 The knowing partner would give hints and clues to the unknowing taped head partner.\u00a0 Can you see it?<\/i>\u00a0 Okay, good \u2026<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This particular kid had the word Asian<\/i> taped to his head and the partner\u2019s first clue was:\u00a0 Bad Driver<\/i>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The kid with the tape moaned, Oh no, I\u2019m a <\/span> \u2026<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
