We\u2019d all just finished worshipping together, the same God, same Creed, same Communion, same Church \u2026 when a man who\u2019d spent his whole life within the bosom of the Orthodox Church said: \u201cYou do know that we Orthodox don\u2019t evangelize \u2026 don\u2019t you?\u201d\n

He was dead serious. I was speechless \u2026<\/p>\n

I ended up practicing one of my religious survival techniques \u2026 I bit my tongue, smiled pleasantly, and nodded my head. Sure enough! It worked \u2026 soon, the topic changed!<\/p>\n

Now, you might consider that a cop-out but, really, what would have been the point? What fruit would argument bear? What would change?<\/p>\n

You know how we Orthodox are about change, don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n

How many Orthodox does it take to change a light bulb?<\/p>\n

WHAT! You can\u2019t change that light bulb \u2013 my grandfather donated that light bulb!<\/p>\n

Then again, you\u2019re most likely also aware of how Orthodox evangelize \u2026<\/p>\n
