A friend sent me this. I realize reading it here is sort of like a TV commercial telling you to dump the Boob Tube. But, some of these may apply \u2026 <\/p>\n

Internet Addict Recovery Program<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1 \u2013<\/strong> I will have a cup of coffee in the morning and read my newspaper like I
used to, before the Internet.<\/p>\n

2 \u2013<\/strong> I will eat breakfast with a knife and fork and not with one hand typing.<\/p>\n

3 \u2013<\/strong> I will get dressed before noon.<\/p>\n

4 \u2013<\/strong> I will make an attempt to clean the house, wash clothes, and plan dinner
before even thinking of the Internet.<\/p>\n

5 \u2013<\/strong> I will sit down and write a letter to those unfortunate few friends and
family that are Internet-deprived.<\/p>\n

6 \u2013<\/strong> I will call someone on the phone who I cannot contact via the Internet.<\/p>\n

7 \u2013<\/strong> I will read a book \u2026 if I still remember how.<\/p>\n

8 \u2013<\/strong> I will listen to those around me and their needs and stop telling them to
turn the TV down so I can hear the music on the Internet.<\/p>\n

9 \u2013<\/strong> I will not be tempted during TV commercials to check for email.<\/p>\n

10 \u2013<\/strong> I will try and get out of the house at least once a week, if it is
necessary or not.<\/p>\n

11 \u2013<\/strong> I will remember that my bank is not forgiving if I forget to balance my
checkbook because I was too busy on the Internet.<\/p>\n

12 \u2013<\/strong> Last, but not least, I will remember that I must go to bed sometime \u2026
and the Internet will always be there tomorrow!<\/p>\n
