Last night, at a PTO meeting where I was not, the 5th Graders had to stand up to the mike and state what they were going to be when they grew up. My wife, who was there, said that most kids spoke of high-paying or glamorous jobs \u2014 doctor, pro-basketball player, etc. Mary Catherine said she wanted to be a writer. She said her Dad liked to read and write and he\u2019s an inspiration to her.![](\"https:\/\/www.straphaelnc.com\/paschakids.jpg\")
