Then President of the US, Abraham Lincoln, is now touted as a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnsnews.com\/\/ViewNation.asp?Page=Nationarchive200504NAT20050412a.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">forerunner<\/a> in the \u201cGay Rights\u201d movement. More precisely, current gossip is that Abe was a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnsnews.com\/\/ViewNation.asp?Page=Nationarchive200504NAT20050412a.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">practicing homosexual<\/a>. My own struggle toward salvation prevents further comment save to say: That war is still ongoing. It is not a \u201ccivil rights\u201d war. Rather, it is a culture war. It may be the last, at least for us \u2014 as in U.S.<\/p>\n<p>The largest group of Lutherans in the US, the ELCA, now stand atop <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldmagblog.com\/blog\/archives\/014036.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">the slippery slope<\/a> with plans to go sliding for a gay old time.<\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t behoove one to oppose the gay old slippery slope, as 6 priests who opposed the election of the sodomite Bishop in the Episcopal Church are now in danger of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local\/connecticut\/articles\/2005\/04\/10\/6_episcopal_priests_warned_of_ouster\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">defrocking<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There was a time when the Episcopal Church was known as the <strong>Thinking Man\u2019s Church<\/strong>. That was before it became the <em><strong>Feeling Woman\u2019s Church<\/strong><\/em>. Today we come to the question, posed by a writer for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/articles\/A22034-2005Apr2.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Washington Post<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>Why do 13 million more women than men attend church services every week?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>David Murrow, an award-winning television documentarian, set out to answer that question using 100 sources, from the Bible to Gallup polls.
