On my way to work last week I was scanning the AM dial \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI do not believe that non-Christians should have babies.<\/p>\n And I want you to hear what I\u2019m saying tonight \u2026<\/p>\n I believe it would be better for that baby to die in the womb than to be born to a couple who are not Saved.<\/p>\n Did you hear me? I want you to pay attention.<\/p>\n It would be better for a child to die in the womb than be born to a mother or a couple who aren\u2019t Saved.<\/p>\n A child in a home without Jesus \u2026 is destined for Hell.<\/p>\n I pray that if a child is born to parents who aren\u2019t Saved \u2014 that he or she dies before the age of accountability.<\/p>\n It would be better to have never lived than to live without Jesus.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n It was dark. I was alone. It was late. I was aghast! At that moment, my own face would have scared me. I quickly hit Scan. I was ashamed I\u2019d even heard the words. In hindsight I wish I knew the name of the Pastor, the Congregation, the Station. Then again, why? What would I, an Orthodox Christian, do?<\/p>\n This was a Country Preacher; obviously a hateful man. He was saying these words to a congregation; instilling his ideas in the minds and hearts of his faithful.<\/p>\n If I\u2019d not heard it with my own ears \u2014 on the radio at that! \u2014 I\u2019d have not believed there was such a sermon. Such a Minister. Such a thing. Such.<\/p>\n In the Culture Wars we often arm ourselves for the big dragons: Mainstream Media, Liberal Politicians, Hollywood. Possibly, there in our own back hollers, there\u2019s smaller snakes wrapped in the Cloth, spewing the \u201cGospel\u201d to our neighbors (the folks who really do live next door).<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve got the Good News! And the Good News is \u2026 you\u2019re going to Hell!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n I\u2019m fairly certain the radio preacher wouldn\u2019t view my children, all Cradle Orthodox, as Saved.<\/p>\n Lord have mercy.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" On my way to work last week I was scanning the AM dial \u2026 \u201cI do not believe that non-Christians should have babies.
