A<\/span> friend of mine is a priest in a special Greek Church named after Mother and Son Saints: Helen and Constantine.<\/p>\nWhen I say this is a special Greek Church, I don\u2019t mean just a big temple, parking lot, annual festival and gymnasium.<\/p>\n
Of course they have all that \u2026<\/em><\/p>\n But, I mean they\u2019ve got something really special \u2026 way down in the basement. I never would have believed it had I not seen it with my own eyes \u2026<\/p>\n Y\u2019all \u2026<\/em><\/p>\n They have a Time Machine!<\/strong><\/p>\n That\u2019s right, an honest to goodness Time Machine that will transport you to any destination you wish. Well, almost. That is, you can go anywhere within the so-called \u201cChristian Era\u201d \u2026 BUT<\/em><\/strong>, your destination must be connected with a Saint.<\/p>\n Being one for new adventures, I said, \u201cSure, I\u2019m game! How \u2018bout we just try the Great Emperor Constantine?!\u201d<\/p>\n So I pulled the lever and WOOSH!<\/em><\/strong> I was really taken aback \u2026 being hurled through the ages at lightening speed! Head swimming, colossal noises, (well you get the picture) \u2026<\/p>\n Next thing I knew I was hurled down into a ramshackle house \u2014 a bit of a hovel \u2014 and people kept calling me Bernie. (For some reason, I dunno, \u201cBernie\u201d is obviously my Time Travel Name.)<\/p>\n
