Thanks to the efforts of\u00a0by bio-medical engineers, most human diseases had\u00a0been eradicated, and the infant mortality rate was almost zero. Thanks to genetic engineers, nearly all birth defects and genetic diseases could\u00a0be reversed immediately, and people were\u00a0living longer than ever. They even learned how to clone human beings in the laboratory, so if anyone died, they could just make a new version of them.<\/p>\n<p>So, the scientists and engineers all got together and decide it\u2019s time they face reality. \u201cHuman beings have outgrown God,\u201d they said. \u201cWe can cure every disease and repair genetic defects. All children are born safely, and the elderly live long and productive lives. Even if we do lose a loved one,\u00a0we can just clone them and still have them with us. Let\u2019s face it, we don\u2019t need God anymore. We have science.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The scientists, sure they were onto something, told each other, \u201cSomebody has to go to heaven and fire God.\u201d They picked one representative to deliver the pink slip to the Almighty.<\/p>\n<p>The scientists figured out a way to teleport the man into God\u2019s presence, and he boldly walked right up to God and said. \u201cOkay, God\u2026 here\u2019s the deal. We don\u2019t mean any disrespect, but the truth is that we\u2019ve got to the point where you are no longer necessary. We\u2019ve unlocked the mysteries of the universe. Diseases are taken care of. All children are born safely and live longer than ever. We can even clone people if they are suddenly lost. I\u2019m sorry to be the one to have to tell you this, but your services are no longer needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222;\">God listened patiently to the scientist, nodding and understanding. When the scientist had finished speaking, God was silent for a few moments and said, \u201cI can see your point. You guys have done some wonderful things and I\u2019m very proud of you. But, I think it\u2019s possible you are not as powerful as you think.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222;\">The scientist answered, \u201cI tell you what, since there\u2019s\u00a0nothing you can do that we can\u2019t do, let\u2019s have a contest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222;\">\u201cOkay,\u201d the Lord said, \u201cLet\u2019s have a man-making contest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222;\">\u201cSure,\u201d said the scientist. \u201cI can clone any human from modern history. Who would you like me to create?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222;\">\u201cNo, no,\u201d God said, \u201cWe going to do this old-school, just like back in the beginning when I made old Adam out of the dust.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222;\">\u201cOkay,\u201d said the scientist, \u201cI can do that.\u201d And he reached down to pick up a handful of dirt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222;\">God just looked at him and said, \u201cOh no, no, no\u2026 you can get your own dirt.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One day, when science had\u00a0become incredibly advanced.
