So, my husband has been working extra hours trying to keep up with all the extra sermons and services that come around this time of year, plus all the usual church issues that get amplified by the holiday season. Meaning he is pretty busy and a bit more stressed than usual.<\/div>\n

I\u2019ve had a couple down days this last week, just feeling frustrated, trapped in the house, missing the sun,\u00a0behind in everything, and a bit lonely. And if you know me at all, you know that when I am down, I either shut down completely, or I bake. <\/div>\n

So even though my house is a disaster<\/strike> mess, and I\u2019m\u00a0buried<\/strike> behind in laundry, and I haven\u2019t mailed a single card for all the\u00a0reletives that have birthdays in this month\u2026<\/div>\n

We have fresh Christmas cookies!<\/span><\/div>\n

They all taste amazing, and I\u2019m hoping they will be the secret fuel I need to get the house in order this next week. I\u2019m counting on\u00a0internal peace arriving from a different source.<\/div>\n
