3 year old:<\/strong> *Gasp*! You have a owie? Where?<\/p>\n

2 year old:<\/strong> Right here. (Pointing sadly to the mosquito bite next to her eye<\/em>)<\/p>\n

3 year old:<\/strong> Did you bang your head on the door and get that owie?<\/p>\n

2 year old:<\/strong> (Nodding<\/em>) Yeah. <\/p>\n

3 year old:<\/strong> I\u2019m so sorry you got a owie in your eye. Do you feel better?<\/p>\n

2 year old:<\/strong> Yeah, I better.<\/p>\n

Silence\u2026<\/p>\n

3 year old:<\/strong> I have a owie too.<\/p>\n

2 year old:<\/strong> *Gasp*! Owie too?<\/p>\n

3 year old:<\/strong> Yeah, right here. (Pointing to a practically invisible scratch on her leg<\/em>) I was running and running and then I fell down and got that owie.<\/p>\n

2 year old:<\/strong> Fell down? Owie?<\/p>\n

3 year old:<\/strong> Yeah. It hurted real real bad.<\/p>\n

2 year old:<\/strong> Hurt? Cry?<\/p>\n

3 year old:<\/strong> Yeah. I cried and cried.<\/p>\n

2 year old:<\/strong> I tiss it?<\/p>\n

3 year old:<\/strong> Yeah, you can kiss it.<\/p>\n

2 year old:<\/strong> (Blows kisses in the general direction of the scratch<\/em>)<\/p>\n
