Unpacked after our vacation. Cleaned the bathroom and did the dishes this week. And I am almost caught up in laundry. It feels good to be back on top of things for the most part after the chaos of a trip.<\/div>\n

Spent some awesome\u00a0time reconnecting with my Hubby almost every evening this week. Which was a good thing because he will be working every night for the\u00a0rest of the week. Goodbye\u00a0Hubby! See you on Monday. \ud83d\ude41<\/div>\n

3.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
I\u2019ve decided that I really want to start reading my\u00a0Bible again. It\u2019s\u00a0hard enough to get\u00a0time with God\u00a0each day when you are\u00a0a mother of 3 small children. Add all the\u00a0questions\u00a0I have about God, and I\u00a0find myself not\u00a0wanting to read my bible at all.\u00a0 I read the bible daily my entire childhood, and\u00a0all the way up until\u00a02 years ago I\u00a0still made an effort to get to it consistently every week. But questioning God, trying to find out who\u00a0He really is, and why I should serve\u00a0Him,\u00a0has had me so frustrated\u00a0about bible passages I don\u2019t understand that I just stopped trying. <\/div>\n
I want to try again. But I don\u2019t think I am ready to read the bible by itself yet, something tells me I wouldn\u2019t stick with it. I\u2019ve always despised Devotional\/ Bible study books, but I\u2019m starting to wonder if that is because the only ones I was ever exposed to were Evangelical and Fundamentalist, I no longer think inside that box. <\/div>\n
So I\u2019m asking you ladies, if any of you have a favorite Devotional book, that helps you to open up to God again, and keeps you at it, Please share! I would love read my bible again, but I am a little overwhelmed by all the devotionals out there!
