This Heavenly Life <\/a>asked for soup recipies just as I was going to post my own!<\/p>\nThis was a vegetarian recipe that I tweaked and changed for my own use. It makes a lot, probably enough for 8? It is still my favorite soup of all time, wonderful flavour, and it actually fills you up.<\/em><\/p>\nPut:<\/em>
1 cup sliced or chopped celery
2 cups sliced carrots
10 cups sliced unpeeled potatoes
About 8 cups of water.<\/strong><\/p>\ntogether in a large pot and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer until celery and carrots are tender.<\/em><\/p>\nFry:<\/em>
2 medium onions sliced or chopped<\/strong>
1 pound ground beef
4 crushed cloves of garlic<\/strong><\/p>\ntogether in a frying pan, drain the grease and add to the pot of vegetables and water.<\/em><\/p>\nAdd:<\/em>
3 cups milk
1 Tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper<\/strong>
1 Tablespoon dried parsley.<\/strong><\/p>\nBoil for a few more minutes and serve hot.
