Happy August, friend!\u00a0<\/span>\n

As miserable as last winter was for those of us living in the area of the country caught in the clutches of the Polar Vortex, this summer\u2019s mild temperatures and abundant sunshine have almost erased the memory of mountains of snow andFrozen<\/em>-like temperatures.<\/p>\n

(Well, almost.)<\/p>\n

Though we\u2019re in the second half of summer, many of us are shopping for school supplies and looking ahead to autumn\u2019s schedules.<\/p>\n

For those of you involved in planning upcoming Bible studies, discipleship groups, book clubs, MOPS groups, retreat planning or women\u2019s ministry at your church, I wanted to let you know that I\u2019m scheduling speaking engagements for fall and winter. If you\u2019re not the one who organizes the gathering you attend, please pass this email along to someone who is. And even if your group meets far from where I live, I\u2019d love an opportunity to join you via Skype or FaceTime.<\/p>\n
