And that\u2019s why I decided to check in with Sarah Lawrence Hinson, a certified, personal energy coach<\/a>. We had a very interesting and stimulating yarn . .<\/h3>\n

For those new to the Akashic Records, here\u2019s a pithy definition from the cyrstalinks.com website:<\/p>\n

The Akashic records (Akasha is a Sanskrit word meaning \u201csky\u201d, \u201cspace\u201d or \u201caether\u201d) are collectively understood to be a collection of mystical knowledge that is encoded in the aether; i.e. on a non-physical plane of existence. The concept is prevalent in New Age discourse and is considered pseudoscience.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Akashic Records are understood to have existed since the beginning of The Creation and even before. Just as we have various specialty libraries (e.g., medical, law), there are said to exist various Akashic Records (e.g., human, animal, plant, mineral, etc) encoding Universal lore. Most writings refer to the Akashic Records in the area of human experience but it is understood that all phenomenal experience as well as transcendental knowledge is encoded therein.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

My intention in accessing the Akashic Records as they pertain to my lifetimes, was simply to plunge a little deeper into who and what has formed me over what we can only call linear time . . I was, and am, particularly curious about whatever \u2018bleed \u2013 throughs\u2019 from other lifetimes may be adversely impacting my current life time. You know, the kind of musings you have when walking the dog or cleaning out the gutters!<\/p>\n

As so we began<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sarah began with an opening prayer along the lines: \u201cDear Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones, help me to connect with any aspects of Gerry\u2019s life that have been forgotten until now . . \u201d Once opened, just about anything can come tumbling out of \u2018The Records\u2019 \u2013 the startling and the grizzly.<\/p>\n

So I really wasn\u2019t ready for the \u201cIt would seem that you ended one lifetime \u2013 perhaps during the French Revolution period \u2013 cramped and terrified in an Oubliette<\/em> (French dungeon), possibly on charges of religious heresy!<\/p>\n

Well I guess nothing much has changed there! I\u2019m still a spiritual rebel and makeshift revolutionary thinker . . But the oubliette? Not pretty.<\/p>\n

Over a period of a week, I sat with some of Sarah\u2019s intuitive visions, and ultimately came to the conclusion that this experience did indeed bleed through into my personal, emotional, psychological, and spiritual development. And I\u2019m still learning.<\/p>\n

I meditatively relaxed into a bit of automatic writing<\/a>. And\u00a0I share here some of my free flow reflections . .<\/p>\n

Naked and cold, shivering in the dark, alone, empty, hungry . . Searching for a squint of light every morning \u2013 never knowing if it would come, will I die here? From fever? From despair?<\/em><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t be afraid to walk out into the light of your truth \u2013 the truth of who you are and who you are called to be in this lifetime . .\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And then, in another session, one of Liam Lawton\u2019s melodic songs comes to me . .<\/p>\n

As pants the heart for running streams . . so longs my soul . . God of my strength, how long should I, like one forgotten mourn, with broken heart, \u00a0I lie exposed to my oppressor\u2019s scorn . . So why cast down my restless soul? Hope still and you shall sing. The praise of One who is my God. And love\u2019s eternal Spring.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
