In an age of helicopter moms and over-scheduled kids, Mark Osborne\u2019s screen adaptation of the classic 1943 French novella, Le Petit Prince\u00a0<\/em>by Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry, has one stirring message: Let the starlight within come out to play.<\/em><\/p>\n

This is an endearing and compelling feature length animated film that plumbs us into the sterile world of a \u2018Little Girl\u2019 who is learning to be a grown-up from an overwrought, uptight, and perfectionist mom. She diligently conforms to her rigorous regime until an eccentric neighbor known as the \u2018Aviator\u2019 explodes into her perfect little world, tearing it asunder with a universe of possibilities.
