An intriguing headline<\/a>\u00a0in The Huffington Post caught my eye this morning. It read: A Rock Star And Two Ex-Politicians Hope To Save America From Trump.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a good article which challenges the American Public to eschew the political posturing and side-shows of the presidential race, and focus on three fundamental questions that need to be squarely answered by Clinton and Trump. The\u00a0three questions<\/a>\u00a0posed by former Republican congressmen Bob Inglis and Brian Baird, along with ex-Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \u201cWhat specific actions will you take, and what will you ask the American people to do to reverse global climate change and ocean acidification?\u201d<\/li>\n
  2. \u201cWhat specific actions will you take, and what will you ask the American people to do to fix the growing debt of the United States?\u201d<\/li>\n
  3. \u201cWhat specific actions will you take during your campaign and your time in office, and what will you ask the American people to do to help restore the respect and confidence of the American people in their elected government?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Yes. These are indeed audacious questions that neither politician should side-step or ignore. And I hope, for everyone\u2019s sake, they don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

    On Polling Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

    When we finally get to the polling centers, and having survived another personality media circus, what will determine which box we check? Clinton\u2019s emails or Trump\u2019s bankruptcies?<\/p>\n

    How about none of the alleged corruption and shenanigans and a good listening to one\u2019s deeper heart wisdom<\/strong>. Meaning? Not asking three or three hundred questions on each candidate\u2019s past or personality; but asking one:<\/p>\n

    Who do I truly believe (and know at an intuitive, gut level) has the wherewithal (albeit flawed and imperfect) to represent the U.S. on the world stage; and broker the best deals possible so that U.S. inhabitants have at least a chance at a better, more civilized way of life?<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    May the lovingly intelligent life within all creation and all beings, guide your electoral determinations in the coming months. Looks like we are going to seriously need that guidance!<\/p>\n
