As our bishops continue with the Synod on the Family, let us pray for them that in their efforts to define and maintain the health of families they listen\u00a0for the promptings of the Holy Spirit to guide their way.<\/p>\n
And let us also recite the prayer by Pope Francis for our families:<\/p>\n
Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
\nin you we contemplate
\nthe splendour of true love,
\nto you we turn with trust.<\/p>\n
Holy Family of Nazareth,
\ngrant that our families too
\nmay be places of communion and prayer,
\nauthentic schools of the Gospel
\nand small domestic Churches.<\/p>\n
Holy Family of Nazareth,
\nmay families never again
\nexperience violence, rejection and division:
\nmay all who have been hurt or scandalized
\nfind ready comfort and healing.<\/p>\n
Holy Family of Nazareth,
\nmay the \u2026 Synod of Bishops
\nmake us once more mindful
\nof the sacredness and inviolability of the family,
\nand its beauty in God\u2019s plan.<\/p>\n
