\nOne<\/strong>
\nOne more week of online classes for the kids, and then exams, and then we can get down to the serious business of cramming everything we forgot to do into the two weeks left before I have to turn in all my paper work. Gosh I love Summer. It\u2019s so much the best.<\/p>\n

Two<\/b>
\nI\u2019m probably going to do a Facebook live video of my garden. Facebook keeps telling me to do videos, and I am nothing if not compliant, but I literally have nothing to say into the little camera of my magical phone, so I will go around waving it at the lilacs and tulips. Also, it will happen without warning, because it\u2019s best to keep you on your toes.<\/p>\n

Three<\/b>
\nNow that there is a real end to the school year creeping up on me, I\u2019ve already started looking around at the dismal piles of boxes I\u2019ve been shoving here and there \u201cfor later.\u201d This July will be two whole years in this house, so maybe I should unpack the stuff in the attic and light everything on fire. Not literally, of course, but with all the metaphors available to hand.<\/p>\n

Four<\/b>
\nAs per usual, I am excited about the summer and all the free time I\u2019ll have to do all the major projects I intended to do all during the year but didn\u2019t. I\u2019m going to paint a couple of rooms, read fifty books, reorganize every single cupboard, write hundreds of things, sew all the buttons back on everything, cope with the big stack of paper in the corner, get in shape, and ascend that holy mountain with my clean hands and pure heart. It\u2019s going to be fantastic.<\/p>\n

Five<\/b>
\nAlso, and this is for real, I\u2019m gonna teach the boys to do laundry. The girls sort of just figured it out on their own. But the boys continue to languish helplessly, complaining about having nothing to wear, but never considering that if they took some of their clothes, any of them that are lying around on the floor in strange clumps mixed with dirt and grime, and put them in the big white thing with the nobs that when you turn them makes water come out and swishes it around until everything doesn\u2019t smell like death and misery, they could then put them on their persons and \u201chave things to wear.\u201d<\/p>\n

Six<\/b>
\nLooking at the calendar, though, we aren\u2019t going to be home much. So I\u2019m not exactly sure when all this will happen. Probably magically, because that\u2019s how it works every year.<\/p>\n
