Televangelist: Christians Who Don’t Vote Trump Are ‘Guilty Of Murder’ October 11, 2016

Texas televangelist Kenneth Copeland tries to bully Christians into voting for Trump.

The right-wing televangelist and prosperity gospel preacher warned Christians that they would be “guilty of murder” if they don’t vote for Trump.

In a fiery plea Copeland told his Christian followers that they would be held accountable by God if they did not vote for Trump in the 2016 election.

Copeland made his remarks hosting a television program featuring right-wing psuedo-historian David Barton, Pastor George Pearsons and Bishop Keith Butler. The program was aimed at mobilizing conservative Christians to vote in the upcoming election.

On the program Copeland warned Christians that bad things would happen if they didn’t vote for Trump, and that those who did not support Trump would be responsible for “every baby that’s aborted,” declaring:

You’re going to be guilty of murder. You’re going to be guilty of an abomination of God. You’re going to be guilty of every baby that’s aborted from this election forward.

On the show, Copeland told viewers that God told him during a prayer that He has been dealing with politicians since biblical times and that America is God’s nation. Copeland shouted:

This is God’s nation and nobody is going to take it away from Him! No man, no woman, no Democrat, no Republican, no socialist, no communist, can take this nation away from God! I don’t know what it is about that you can’t understand, but I’m telling you right now God Almighty is head of this nation, not people! Jesus of Nazareth is lord over the United States!

Copeland’s over the top rhetoric is embarrassing and comical, until one remembers that Copeland has a large audience of gullible Christians who believe that his insane ranting is the will of God.

Bottom line: Don’t forget to vote.
