Thanks Trump: Campaigning on a platform of divinely ordained white supremacy and racism, Jean Cramer, a city council candidate in Marysville, Michigan, says she wants to keep her city “a white community as much as possible.”
CBS News reports:
A Michigan city council candidate shocked a public forum when she said she wants to keep “Marysville a white community as much as possible.”
Cramer is one of five candidates campaigning for three open council seats in November. Appearing at a City Hall forum with her fellow candidates Cramer was asked:
Do you believe the diversity of our community needs to be looked at, and if so, should we be more aggressive in attracting foreign-born citizens?
Keep Marysville a white community as much as possible.
Later Cramer tried to explain her position by claiming that she’s not “against blacks” but believes that married couples “need to be the same race.”
Trying to defend her racism, Cramer said:
As long as, how can I put this? … a husband and wife need to be the same race. Same thing with kids. That’s how it’s been from the beginning of, how can I say, when God created the heaven and the earth. He created Adam and Eve at the same time. But as far as me being against blacks, no I’m not.
And for the record, if you claim you want to keep your city “a white community as much as possible,” and if you say “a husband and wife need to be the same race,” you are a racist. Full stop.
To their credit, the other candidates on the stage rejected Cramer’s despicable racism.
Commenting on the racist comments, Wayne Pyden, who is running unopposed for mayor, said:
I don’t see how anybody has stopped diversity here in town that I am aware of. I don’t know off the top of my head what type of initiatives the city could take to get more diversity. But in my own heart and my own mind and people around me, people here at the table, everybody’s welcome to Marysville.
Bottom line: Jean Cramer, a city council candidate in Marysville, Michigan, says she wants to keep her city “a white community as much as possible,” because that’s what God would want.
