I wanted to go, but I didn\u2019t have the money.<\/p>\n

You see, I bought a piano<\/a> and I sine die-d<\/a> for the last time<\/a>. That left me without $ and energy, both at once.<\/p>\n

But now, I\u2019m wishing I had gone, even if it meant \u2014 which it did \u2014 breaking the piggy bank.<\/p>\n

They need a Democrat there to balance things out. They really do.<\/p>\n

What am I talking about?<\/p>\n

The 2014 March for Marriage.<\/p>\n

You can still go. If you have the coin, or you live on the East Coast, you can take the day off work and go. If it was within driving distance, or even one-shot airline travel distance, I would go ahead and do it.<\/p>\n

But I have to change planes and spend a small fortune in travel\/hotels to do this. It\u2019s such a safari that next year I\u2019m going to build a whole vacation around it.<\/p>\n

But you who live within driving distance, you can go with no sweat. Just throw some baloney sandwiches in the cooler, gas up the car and go.<\/p>\n

Because we need you there.<\/p>\n

Because marriage matters.<\/p>\n

Because we\u2019re at the beginning of this fight, not the end.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Washington, DC.<\/p>\n

At the headwaters of the fight to re-convert our culture.<\/p>\n

Be there.<\/p>\n
