I had no intention of writing a blog post this week. I\u2019ve been using these last days of Lent to pray and read Scripture.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But if I did not say something about what is happening in our country, I could not take communion. I would not be worthy to enter the church.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Satan has given us the opportunity to relive the moment when Pilate stood Christ in front of the crowd and said What shall I do with your King?\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Ordinary Americans have the chance, right now, to stand up and say Free Him!\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

<\/i><\/b>Kilmar Abrego Garcia is an innocent man who was taken without charges or evidence of wrongdoing from his home and sent to the black hole of what amounts to Trump\u2019s concentration camp in El Salvador.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ICE, the organization that Trump uses to conduct his kidnappings, admitted that it had made an \u201cadministrative error\u201d<\/a> by seizing Abrego Garcia. The Trump regime\u2019s attorney admitted in court that, even by the non-existent standards of Trump\u2019s \u201cJustice Department\u201d that his kidnapping and imprisonment was an \u201cerror.\u201d The Attorney General subsequently fired<\/a> this attorney, I would guess for telling the truth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Kilmar Abrego Garccia\u2019s is not unique. Our government is making up totally unsubstantiated claims about people they have targeted to be abducted and sent to concentration camps. They never offer to prove any of their accusations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They send their masked gestapo, which we call ICE, to seize people without a warrant or any legal proceeding and take them prisoner. They are literally grabbing people off the streets. They do not charge them with a crime or allow them to stand before a judge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They just make claims that these people are \u201cgang members,\u201d \u201crapists\u201d and \u201cmurderers\u201d without providing a shred of evidence. The Trump regime, without so much as allowing these prisoners to make a phone call, ships them off like baggage to Trump\u2019s concentration camp in El Salvador. Their families are left with no idea what has happened to them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

None of the people Trump\u2019s regime is abducting seem to be in America illegally. They are here legally, with Visas. Many of them are applying for citizenship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was in the process of applying for asylum in America because he was a target of the violence in his own country. A judge had granted him the right to be in this country. He was here legally. He was not hiding anything. He was working with our courts in an open and legal fashion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His case is such an obvious injustice that the Trump administration\u2019s own attorney called his seizure and imprisonment a \u201cmistake.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Supreme Court<\/a> ruled unanimously <\/i>that Trump should return Garcia to the United States. Think about that. Clarence Thomas and Samual Alito said this man was illegally removed from this country and should be returned. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead of complying with the Supreme Court\u2019s order, Trump brought the dictator of El Salvador, who is well-known for the human rights violations he enacts on his own people to the White House. They held a press conference in which the gleeful Salvadoran dictator smugly announced that he would not release Garcia and allow him to return to the United States.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Trump has made comments<\/a> about how he intends to also send American citizens, what he called \u201chomegrown\u201d bad guys, to El Salvador too. His press secretary later confirmed<\/a> that sending American citizens to El Salvador is, in fact, the plan, and his Attorney General, Pam Bondi,<\/a> wouldn\u2019t answer when asked about it.<\/p>\n

Bondi claims that the USA has no power to get El Salvador to release Garcia. This is a lie. America is paying El Salvador to run this camp for us. Your tax dollars are going to fund a concentration camp. If Trump told his Central American puppet he wanted Garcia released, Garcia would be on the next plane home within the hour. Today, Bondi announced that Garcia will not be coming back to the United States<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The President of the United States and the Attorney General of the United States are directly defying the Supreme Court and refusing to follow the law.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They are running a concentration camp. The president is already talking about sending American citizens to this camp.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from the humanitarian and moral aspects of this situation, I hope that you realize that if this keeps on, it won\u2019t be long before anyone Trump doesn\u2019t like is liable to end up in a concentration camp.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He\u2019s not deporting illegal aliens. He\u2019s setting up camps to disappear anyone he wants.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is obviously morally bankrupt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is also a choose this day whom you will serve\u00a0<\/span><\/i> moment for all American Christians. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pilate stood Jesus in front of the crowd and asked, What shall I do with you king?\u00a0<\/i>The crowd answered\u00a0Crucify Him!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

If you support kidnapping people and putting them in concentration camps, you should not take communion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I think the ICE gestapo who are grabbing these people, the government officials and media talking heads who are deliberately lying about people to justify kidnapping and imprisoning people in a concentration camp should all be refused communion.<\/p>\n

A small<\/a> \u2014 very small \u2014 number of clergy and faithful Christians have spoken out about this. So far as I can tell, the rest of them are too busy writing up their homilies, dusting off their vestments and firing up their incense for the really big show of Holy Week to be bothered to say\u00a0Free Him!\u00a0<\/em>They are so caught up in replaying the crucifixion of Christ that they are ignoring Christ crucified right in front of them.<\/p>\n

I can not do that. I have to say something. I choose this day whom I will serve. I will serve Christ and Him crucified.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I do not have the power to change this situation. I do not have the health to protest. But I can write this blog post.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not trying to be eloquent. I\u2019m not even really trying to persuade you. If satan has you so completely in his grip that you support this, you need far better help than I can give you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All I can do is my part.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is Holy Week. The week Our Lord was grabbed by the ICE of that day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The execrable Trump churches with their anti-christ fake \u201cchristianity\u201d would have crucified Jesus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I know that because they back this obscenity of taking people off the streets and sending them to a concentration camp in El Salvador. They are crucifying Him right now, in real time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is Christ Crucified, standing in front us.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

I wasn\u2019t there in that crowd on that day. I have always hoped that if I had been, I would have yelled \u201cFree Him!\u201d I have prayed that if the test ever came, I would recognize it and not fail.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is that test. It is our privilege, our gift of undeserved grace from a loving God, to be able to take a stand for Christ in living human flesh. Right now, in Holy Week, we can say\u00a0Free Him!\u00a0<\/em>when evil asks\u00a0What shall I do with your king?\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Bring Kilmar Abrego Garcia home.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Stop lying. Stop breaking the law. Stop kidnapping people. Close the concentration camp.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
