Trump doesn\u2019t like Pope Leo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nTrump is trying to force Pope Leo to fall down and worship Trump, not Jesus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nTrump wants Pope Leo to be a Catholic Franklin Graham.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nTrump wants the Catholic bishops to be a whole chorus of Paula Whites. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nTrump wants to suck you and me and every other Catholic into the pit of idolatry just like he has our Trump-worshipping evangelical brothers and sisters. He wants us to fall down and worship Donald Trump instead of Jesus Christ. And he wants our Pope and bishops to teach and preach that if we don\u2019t worship Trump, we\u2019ll all go to hell.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nPope Leo has been a big disappointment to Trump. Instead of teaching Catholics to follow Satan\u2019s newest Baal, Pope Leo has been exhorting us to follow Christ and the Gospels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nMeanwhile, Trump has been flailing and failing. My neighbor\u2019s cat would be a better Commander in Chief than Trump. He\u2019s gotten us into a dangerous mess with his Iran War. And he can\u2019t seem to get us back out of it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nIt\u2019s really kind of scary, how flat-out incompetent Trump is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nPope Leo hasn\u2019t done anything radical. All he\u2019s done is say that human beings are made in the Image and Likeness of God and you can\u2019t kill them, gun them down on the streets, or imprison them just because you feel like it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nThat\u2019s kinda like Christianity 101. If you don\u2019t agree with that, you don\u2019t agree with Jesus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nTrump\u2019s not happy with Pope Leo. He wants clergy to teach their followers to worship him, not Jesus. And a lot of them do exactly that.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nTrump is satan\u2019s newest Baal, and when the pope raises up Jesus, satan gets mad.<\/p>\n

And Pope Leo just brushed it off and kept on being the pope.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nCan you imagine how frustrating that must have been for Trump? It appears that Trump and his mini Trumps get off on using the power of the United States of America to terrify people and break them down. I think it gives them a thrill when they dominate other people and force them to do things they don\u2019t want to do.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nThey tried this with Pope Leo, and Pope Leo just kept on being the Pope. You might have thought that he had \u2026 what\u2019s that word? \u2026 faith. You\u00a0 <\/span>might have thought he had more faith in God than he did in Trump\u2019s earthly power.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nSo yesterday Trump got out his little thumbs and typed up a post lambasting the Holy Father for teaching and preaching the Gospel instead of teaching and preaching Trump. He followed that by posting a meme of himself as Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n
Pope Leo got up early today because he is going on a trip to Africa. He\u2019s going to represent the Gospel and bring the light of Christ to the least of these. Stuff like that.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nWhen reporters asked him about Trump\u2019s attack, he responded with the calm and confidence of a man who knows Whom he has believed. \u201cI\u2019m not afraid of the Trump administration or of speaking out loudly for the Gospel,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nThe Holy Spirit gave us the right pope for this time. I thank God for him.<\/p>\n
