Thanksgiving is Thursday. What am I thankful for?<\/strong> The list is almost endless. Here, in the order they occur to me, are 10 of the things I\u2019m thankful for this morning.<\/p>\n

1. I\u2019m thankful<\/strong> that my foot is healing. I have a boot and can use a walker now.<\/p>\n

2. I\u2019m thankful<\/strong> for my best friend, true companion, lover and love of my life: my husband.<\/p>\n

3. I\u2019m thankful<\/strong> that my sons are loving, kind, honest people. I\u2019m proud of them.<\/p>\n

4. I\u2019m thankful<\/strong> I still have my mother and that she is not suffering and is relatively happy.<\/p>\n

5. I\u2019m thankful<\/strong> that, despite my overweight-out-of-shape condition, I do not have diabetes or heart disease.<\/p>\n

6. I\u2019m thankful<\/strong> for the Catholic Church.<\/p>\n

7. I\u2019m thankful<\/strong> for the gift of eternal life.<\/p>\n

8. I\u2019m thankful<\/strong> for second chances.<\/p>\n

9. I\u2019m thankful<\/strong> for a car that runs, computers, internet, electricity, hot and cold running water, central air and heat and the delete button on my keyboard.<\/p>\n

10. I am thankful<\/strong> for my girlfriends, without whom life would be shades of dull.<\/p>\n
