A poll released yesterday by Gallup reveals a large divide between white and non-white Americans who were asked how they think the country is doing. Nearly 57 percent of non-white Americans respond positively about the current state of the U.S. compared to 33 percent of white Americans. This marks the first time in recent history such a large racial gap has existed on this issue.<\/p>\n
