What would <em>The Wizard of Oz<\/em>\u00a0look like if the Emerald City <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biz20.biz\/The-Wizard-of-Oz-in-China\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">were in China<\/a>?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In an op-ed for the New York Times, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2012\/06\/13\/opinion\/im-a-mormon-not-a-christian.html?src=me&amp;ref=general\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">one Mormon added his voice<\/a> to the 36%\u00a0of registered voters <a href=\"http:\/\/publicreligion.org\/research\/2011\/11\/2011-american-values-survey\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">who do not believe<\/a>\u00a0that\u00a0the <a href='https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/library\/mormonism' target='_blank'>Mormon faith<\/a> is a Christian religion, declaring that he is \u201cemphatically\u201d not a Christian.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sojo.net\/blogs\/2012\/06\/15\/atheists-challenge-tax-exemption-religious-groups?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed:+sojourners\/gods-politics+(Sojourners+God's+Politics+Blog)\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Atheists are speaking out<\/a> against tax exemptions for religious groups, citing what they say is an unfair policy of subsidizing institutions that only some Americans utilize. According to a professor at the University of Tampa, the U.S. government could be losing as much as $76 billion a year by declining to tax religious groups.<\/p>\n<p>After announcing his decision to stop deporting younger illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children, <a href=\"http:\/\/religion.blogs.cnn.com\/2012\/06\/15\/white-house-receives-political-cover-on-immigration-from-religious-groups\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">President Obama is receiving praise<\/a> from evangelical leaders. The policy change could also <a href=\"http:\/\/publicreligion.org\/2012\/06\/new-immigration-policy-could-boost-obama-among-latinos\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">snag him some support<\/a> among Latinos, a much-coveted demographic.<\/p>\n<p>If the Supreme Court overturns Obamacare, what will be the White House\u2019s next steps? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/stories\/0612\/77472.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Congressional Democrats say<\/a> they\u2019re getting virtually no guidance from the administration about what to do if the court strikes down part or all of the legislation.<\/p>\n<p>Romney <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/nationworld\/nation\/la-na-romney-20120617,0,2666365.story\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">is appealing<\/a> to Christian groups by attacking President Obama\u2019s policies on Israel.
