Hello Dear Readers (old and new),<\/p>\n

I am so excited to join the Catholic channel at Patheos.com. I feel it is apropos\u00a0for a religious sister like me to be blogging \u201cin community\u201d rather than on my\u00a0own, so that is just one reason among many why I am excited to join the awesome group of Catholic writers at Patheos.<\/p>\n

Not much will be changing. I will still be writing about a variety of topics from a Catholic and particularly Pauline viewpoint.<\/p>\n

I approach my writing with the attitude encouraged by Blessed James Alberione, the founder of\u00a0my order, The Daughters of St. Paul<\/a>\u00a0(and the entire\u00a0Pauline Family<\/a>)\u00a0who said:<\/p>\n

We need to put down the scissors of censorship and pick up the camera and microphone. We need to speak in the language of our own time\u2026 because God is so beautiful.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And that is my approach to all the issues I write about. God is so beautiful. So even if I am writing about something that is difficult, heart-breaking or horrific, I will\u00a0always\u00a0try to approach it from a stance of truth rooted in hope, because our God is beautiful. If I ever veer from that approach, I trust my readers will help me get back on course.<\/p>\n
