We want to spread kindness, gratitude and acts of good while highlighting the work of great charities.<\/strong>We want to start a wildfire of kindness and positivity<\/strong> online and in everyday life. If you are tired of negativity<\/strong>, strife & division\u2014especially on social media\u2014<\/p>\n

\u2013TAG 3-5 friends<\/strong>\u00a0to take the #AmericaIsKind Challenge<\/p>\n

\u2013PAY IT FORWARD <\/strong>by doing a random act of kindness for a stranger<\/p>\n

Our theme today is\u00a0PARKS,<\/strong> and our Charity of the Day<\/strong> is the National Park Foundation<\/a>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I became aware of my gratitude for our parks system when I traveled to areas of the developing world where they lack funds for basic necessities, let alone parks. We don\u2019t think about the gift of our parks because they are so plentiful and available, but when we pause and take a breath, we can truly be grateful for the spaces that allow the healing beauty of nature \u00a0to surround us.\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n

Good: <\/strong>Take someone you love and have FUN at\u00a0a park: take a hike, pack a picnic, throw a Frisbee, swing on the swings. It doesn\u2019t matter how old you are\u2013our parks bring out the kid in all of us.<\/div>\n
