Dr Pepper told the band Guns N\u2019 Roses that they would give everyone in America a free bottle of Dr Pepper if their new album came out in 2008. It comes out next month and Dr Pepper is ponying up.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe never thought this day would come,\u201d Tony Jacobs, Dr Pepper\u2019s vice president of marketing, said in a statement. \u201cBut now that it\u2019s here, all we can say is: The Dr Pepper\u2019s on us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beginning Sunday at 12:01 a.m., coupons for a free 20-ounce soda will be available for 24 hours on Dr Pepper\u2019s Web site. They\u2019ll be honored until Feb. 28, 2009. (h\/t Yahoo News<\/a>)<\/p>\n
