When I daydream about where home will eventually be, I envision a funky little\u00a0house with\u00a0a skylight in the\u00a0kitchen, a small garden, and a backyard big enough for a German Shepherd.<\/p>\n

The rest of it doesn\u2019t really matter\u00a0to me really at all. The town or city, urban or rural\u2026these things aren\u2019t important. There were times in the past that I would debate locations with my husband as if those things really mattered.<\/p>\n

Now I know that I just need him, the kids, and a good parish nearby. Those are the non-negotiables in life for me.<\/p>\n

And chicken fried steak.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t live anywhere that I can\u2019t get a good chicken fried steak. That would be anathema.<\/p>\n
