There\u2019s a friend I was once close enough to that I considered her my sister<\/a>. We are the godparents of each other\u2019s children, and lived in and out of each other\u2019s houses. We walked together through some of the darkest moments of our lives, but that was years ago.<\/p>\n

She moved one way. We moved somewhere else. We slowly lost touch with each other. We just drifted apart. There was one last friendly phone call with promises to talk again, but\u00a0it never happened.<\/p>\n

And it was dead and gone.<\/p>\n

And I miss her terribly.<\/p>\n

At least a dozen times a week, I go to call her and just chat, but her new number isn\u2019t in my phone. I looked her up on Facebook, but she\u2019s locked down tighter than Fort Knox. I did find her on Pinterest, but I can\u2019t figure out how to send her a message there.<\/p>\n

I do know what I would say though.<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday I found a picture of our babies making dinosaur noises at the park. Do you remember when they were this small? It seems like just yesterday that your girl took her first steps into my arms, and you called him a superball in a telephone booth. There are so many things that I want to tell you, and so many things about you that I wonder. I miss you\u00a0terribly. \u00a0I think about you almost everyday, and would give anything to hear you laugh, and even more to curl up under the big blanket on the couch, eating brownie batter ice cream, and watch the \u2018swirling-cesspool-of-humanity\u2019 that is trash TV. Not talking to you is dumb. Call me. Please?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Does anyone know where I can find my Girl-in-the-White-Minivan? If you do, can you tell her that I said \u2018hi\u2019 and that I sill love her? Thanks.<\/p>\n
