\nThe neighbor\u2019s boy was at our house yesterday telling my children all of the reasons he wishes he were homeshooled.\u00a0 He mentioned things like not having to do as much work, there being no math, and his getting to play video games all day.\u00a0 My own children were a bit incredulous that this was his vision of their days, and if that\u2019s what other homeschoolers do\u2026.why hadn\u2019t someone told their mom?<\/p>\n
Then he said \u201cYeah, and if I don\u2019t get my work done, the teacher makes me go sit in a special room all by myself, not talking allowed, and I have to stay there until I catch up on my work.\u00a0 You don\u2019t have that at all.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cSure we do.\u201d #3 replied. \u201cIt\u2019s called the dining room.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe baby slept all night last night in spite of the wild spring storm outside.\u00a0 She snoozed through rain, wind, hail, thunder, and the horrible noise which is her mother\u2019s snoring\u2026\u2026but her father\u2019s snort at 5:30?\u00a0 That woke her right up.<\/p>\n

\nMy children are fascinated by the giant frog in the back yard that\u2019s eating the tiny toads.\u00a0 They\u2019re equally repulsed and in awe of his nonchalant cannibalism.\u00a0 I\u2019m not sure they\u2019re actually bringing the tiny toads to him, but I wouldn\u2019t put it past them.\u00a0 They can\u2019t get enough of the \u201cmonster frog\u201d they\u2019ve named Frank.<\/p>\n
