The last few weeks I\u2019ve felt a bit like Ginger Rogers, \u201cdancing backwards in high heels.\u201d It feels so appropriate for where I am at this point in my life.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t see where I\u2019m going.<\/li>\n
Someone else is in charge<\/li>\n
The steps are complicated and intricate<\/li>\n
I have to keep up<\/li>\n
I have to figure it all out and somehow manage to look confident and capable in the midst of it all.<\/li>\n

The high heels?\u00a0 \u2026\u2026..Cute shoes are always a bonus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

For now, it\u2019s relief to not be the person in charge.\u00a0 It\u2019s a feeling I\u2019m trying to learn to like.\u00a0 I find it hard to give up the illusion of control, but I\u2019m trying.<\/p>\n

I just keep reminding myself that dancing is easy.\u00a0 All I have to do is step into God\u2019s arms and let him lead me where He will.\u00a0 All of this craziness lately?\u00a0 It\u2019s just the big fancy turn where he does all the work and makes me look good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Can you believe this dress?\u00a0 Forget white robes in Heaven, I want to wear this little number.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
People keep telling me how brave and strong I am.\u00a0 I can assure you that \u201cbrave and strong\u201d are not me at the moment.\u00a0 I\u2019m just listening to the tunes He calls and trying to dance along.<\/p>\n
