My eldest son made bread yesterday.\u00a0 I told him to be sure to follow the instructions to the letter or it would not rise, as yeast can be tricky to work with.\u00a0 He completely ignored my advice and just poured the ingredients into the bowl willy-nilly.\u00a0 I smiled at the lesson he was learning about the importance of following directions.<\/p>\n

The bread was perfect.\u00a0 The instructions don\u2019t seem to matter.\u00a0 He laughed out loud when he pulled the loaves from the oven.\u00a0 I\u2019m not sure if his joy was from the sight of his perfect bread or from being right.<\/p>\n

2.<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n

I hate it when I write something that makes total sense in my head and then ends up confusing people about what I\u2019m trying to say.\u00a0 I did that yesterday.\u00a0 I tried to clarify in the comments, but I\u2019m not sure that was clear.\u00a0 I\u2019m considering taking it down because of it.<\/p>\n

I like how when you have a sick kid or turmoil in your life no one says \u201cWhat the heck are you talking about?\u201d\u00a0 They just let you go on being crazy by yourself.\u00a0 I need to find a way to use that for something better than bad blog posts.<\/p>\n

3.<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

One of the people I love best in all the world was here last weekend.\u00a0 The Girl in the White Minivan and her beautiful miracle children came to visit.\u00a0 It was only 3 days and definitely not long enough.\u00a0 She just needs to move here.\u00a0 I told her so and she laughed.\u00a0 Her husband is in the military and they\u2019ve moved every summer for the last 5.\u00a0 I don\u2019t think he\u2019d notice this summer if he got to the next duty station and the rest of the family got as far as \u2026..let\u2019s say Dallas just for fun.\u00a0 They could all just detour here for a year.\u00a0 It would be the best year ever!<\/p>\n
