1.<\/span><\/b><\/div>\nI picked up the baby yesterday morning. She studied my face for a moment. Her eyebrows raised as if to say \u201cHey\u2026I know you!\u201d and then she smiled with the whole of her face. What a happy morning. She knows who I am and she likes me!<\/span><\/p>\n2.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n The renters in our OKC house are insane with their expectations.\u00a0 They want everything done yesterday, call or text a dozen times a day (on Thanksgiving) until they\u2019re done, and complain when it\u2019s not done the way they wanted. (This wasn\u2019t an emergency y\u2019all.\u00a0 It was getting the hedges trimmed.\u00a0 They called on Thanksgiving morning and wanted it done that day.) \u00a0 When they moved in, their insurance company paid 6 months in advance (they lost theirs in a tornado).\u00a0 This is their first month of paying the rent themselves and guess what?\u00a0 It\u2019s late.\u00a0 Would it be unreasonable to return the 10 times a day texting\/calling favor?\u00a0 I don\u2019t know whether to laugh or cry.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\n3.<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n A boy texted my daughter last night to ask her out (I think.)\u00a0 She said something about Christmas not being over until Epiphany.\u00a0 He replied \u201cOh, you\u2019re Roman Catholic?\u201d and the religious debate began.\u00a0 When she began to mop the floor with him (she\u2019s heard his arguments before) he said \u201cYour tone isn\u2019t very attractive right now.\u201d\u00a0 To which she replied, \u201cYou\u2019re attacking my church.\u00a0 I\u2019m not being attractive.\u00a0 I\u2019m being right.\u201d<\/span>
