One of the elderly ladies at church rubbed my belly today.\u00a0 I know it\u2019s pretty much just sticking out there\u2026.kind of a lot for just shy of 15 weeks.\u00a0 No, there aren\u2019t two in there, as I\u2019ve been asked several times in the past few days.\u00a0 Yes, I\u2019m sure.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s the belly rub that bothers me the most.\u00a0 First, because I don\u2019t know the woman\u2026.as in never seen her before in my entire life.\u00a0 So, her laying hands on me was a bit unexpected. Secondly, she didn\u2019t even say \u2018hi\u2019 or acknowledge me in any way.\u00a0 She rubbed my belly and said \u201cHi little baby\u201d Then smiled at me and walked away.<\/p>\n
Sigh.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s the bad thing about that, aside from some stranger touching me unexpectedly.\u00a0 The baby isn\u2019t that big yet.\u00a0 It\u2019s not anywhere near the top of the \u2018bump\u2019.\u00a0 All she was rubbing were fat, skin, and intestine. The baby is still pretty low, like below my belly button.\u00a0 This strange woman came up and rubbed my fat and all I could think after getting over the moment of shock was \u201cplease don\u2019t let it jiggle.\u201d Yes, that\u2019s what I thought.\u00a0 Please don\u2019t let this random stranger know how fat I really am\u2026.don\u2019t let it jiggle.<\/p>\n
Yes, #7 is groovin\u2019 and kickin\u2019 and doing all kinds of exciting things, but the movement she felt this morning?\u00a0 The \u201ckick\u2019 that greeted her hand?\u00a0 That was last night\u2019s baby back ribs and pregnancy gas.
