My Mother-in-Law is coming into town this weekend and is staying for a whole week!\u00a0 I\u2019m so excited to get to see her before we move to Texas and they move to Kentucky this Summer.\u00a0 (It\u2019s going to be a busy Summer.)\u00a0<\/p>\n
My sweet husband has tried to tell her about #7, but she has been so nervous about moving that she talked over him and never heard his big announcement\u2026..which means someone needs to tell her before she comes so she can practice her reply. (I\u2019m a realist here.\u00a0 People are generally shocked with the idea of 7 children even when they love them all.\u00a0 You have to give people a chance to practice, it\u2019s only fair.)<\/p>\n
The thing is, I have an ultrasound on Tuesday.\u00a0 It\u2019s not a big anatomy scan, more of a peek to make sure that everything is okay.\u00a0 I really want to ask her if she wants to go with me\u2026..but here\u2019s the thing\u2026.medical stuff makes her completely uneasy and a little greenish.\u00a0 I don\u2019t want to put her in a spot where she has to say \u2018yes\u2019 if she\u2019s rather not go\u2026.on the other hand it\u2019s the chance to see her grandchild months before he\/she is born\u2026.if I were her I\u2019d jump at the chance.<\/p>\n
Alright, Internets, I\u2019m putting this in your wise and capable hands\u2026.do I ask her? Do I let the Computer Guy mention it casually?\u00a0 Or do I just accept that she hates anything medical and leave the poor woman alone?\u00a0 What would you do?<\/p>\n
