Perhaps God, who knows whether or not Biden\u2019s brain was permanently damaged by his brain surgery, will not judge him too harshly, but the Church, which does not have that kind of knowledge, should certainly speak out and reprimand him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We need more bishops like him. (I wrote him a fan email that said how much I love his blog and he wrote back that I \u201cmade his day.\u201d\u00a0 I\u2019m pretty sure that making a bishop\u2019s day will get me straight into Heaven.)<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not making Easter Dinner this year.\u00a0 I think we\u2019re just going to get Chinese takeout.\u00a0 The thought of spending the day in the kitchen smelling food and then having to be nice to people while I watch them eat it\u2026..it\u2019s not happening\u2026\u2026Maybe we\u2019ll just order a pizza because nothing says \u201cAlleluia!\u00a0 He is risen!\u201d quite like a large peperoni, canadian bacon, sausage pizza.\u00a0 (Once again we\u2019re celebrating a Jew with pork products.\u00a0 Nice.)<\/p>\n

I just spent a half hour on the phone with a friend while we griped about our lives.\u00a0 She sounded relieved; I felt worse.\u00a0 Maybe I\u2019ll just listen next time.<\/p>\n
