The lovely and talented Jennifer Fulwiler of Conversion Diary<\/a> recently agreed to answer a few questions about herself.\u00a0 I could ask anything (oh, where to begin\u2026) but I promised I would limit the number to 5.<\/p>\n

Here are her answers\u2026.she\u2019s a very interesting person\u2026.<\/p>\n

1. What do your parents think of your conversion?<\/p>\n

\n
They raised my to seek the truth regardless of whether it\u2019s convenient
and to be intellectually honest, so they respect my conversion, even
if they don\u2019t totally understand it. My dad in particular has made
comments that he\u2019s proud that my husband and I really live out our
belief system rather than bending the rules we don\u2019t like. The thing
that always bothered him the most was when people claimed to believe
something but then didn\u2019t really live it when it got inconvenient.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u00a02.\u00a0 I recently wrote on my blog about my underwear, proving that I have no limits.\u00a0 Do you have things about which you refuse to blog?<\/p>\n

Yes, definitely. Every now and then I get links from sites that are<\/div>\n

extremely unhappy about what I write about, and I get some pretty<\/span>
vitriolic comments. Because of this, I don\u2019t give a lot of details<\/span>
about my family. Basically, I don\u2019t share anything information that it<\/span>
would really bother me if someone used to insult me. But pictures of<\/span>
scorpion in my toilet? Sure. Stories of one of my child painting an<\/span>
entire corner of the room with her own\u2026well, nevermind. In terms of<\/span>
stuff like that, or sharing my own spiritual ineptitude and<\/span>
missteps\u2026no, I can\u2019t think of anything I wouldn\u2019t write about!<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

3.\u00a0 What a book are you reading now?\u00a0 What book do you always recommend to others?\u00a0 What book could you re-read a hundred times? (More than one question, but I think I fooled her by numbering them as one.\u00a0 Pretty sneaky.)<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently I\u2019m reading two books: The Heavenly Man by <\/span>Brother Yun<\/span>,<\/span>
and <\/span>First Things<\/span> First by Steven Covey. I also just finished<\/span>
Google\u2019lize Your Life \u2014 I\u2019m on a major productivity kick lately.<\/span>
The book that I always recommend to others is He Leadeth Me by Fr.<\/span>
Walter Ciszek<\/span> (and I frequently get emails of effusive thanks from<\/span>
people who did read it \u2014 it\u2019s truly life-changing). The book I could<\/span>
read again and again is A <\/span>Million Miles<\/span> in a Thousand Years by <\/span>Donald<\/span>
Miller<\/span>. I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s just because I\u2019m a writer, but that book<\/span>
really touched me.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

4. If you had your choice, what would you choose for your last meal and why?<\/p>\n

I always get hung up on questions like this, because I am a really<\/span>
neurotic and overly analytical person. Why is it my last meal? If I<\/span>
were about to die, I\u2019d probably just fast and pray and beg God not to<\/span>
give me afterlife smackdown that I deserve. If it were my last meal<\/span>
because I was having my stomach removed or something\u2026I\u2019d love a<\/span>
really good cream of leek soup.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

5. In the book of Judith, she puts on some make-up, grabs her maid and her cute purse, and heads off to defeat the enemy.\u00a0 What color purse is appropriate to take with you on a mission to save your people?<\/p>\n

I think something red and sparkly, just big enough to hold my gun.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She completely skipped the extra point bonus question written by my son : \u00a0 <\/p>\n

The zombie apocalypse is coming (we all know this is a verifiable fact.)\u00a0 Do you have a plan in place and what is your weapon of choice?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
