This morning at Mass I sat next to the nuns.\u00a0 (The nuns!!!!!!!\u00a0 Love them!!!!!)\u00a0 I was wearing these super cute black wedges I bought a few months ago, and it wasn\u2019t long before the nun nest to me was checking them out.\u00a0 (She\u2019s a girl\u2026she notices shoes\u2026I like that in my nuns.)<\/p>\n
After Mass, she touched my shoulder to get my attention and said \u201cCute shoes.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThanks\u201d I replied.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have a soft spot for cute shoes.\u201d She admitted.\u00a0 \u201d I always secretly wished to be Dorothy with those glittery red pumps.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cMe, too.\u201d I told her, not adding that I own 2 pair of shiny red pumps for just that reason.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s the only fly in the ointment, for me, no red shoes.\u201d\u00a0 She said laughingly as she walked off toward the nun car.<\/p>\n
So, here\u2019s my question\u2026she\u2019s a nun who always wanted to wear Dorothy\u2019s shoes\u2026.I happen to have sparkly red stilettos\u2026.would it be okay to invite her over for dinner and let her wear my ruby slippers?\u00a0 Would that count as charity or temptation?\u00a0<\/p>\n
