We are within spitting distance of the end of the school year.\u00a0 I can see it from here.\u00a0 (Literally.\u00a0 May just came up on my digital calendar.)\u00a0<\/p>\n
It\u2019s almost the end and I\u2019m hitting homeschool burnout in a serious fashion.\u00a0 I really just want to stay in bed to day and read a good book.\u00a0 That\u2019s not happening.\u00a0 The fog and gray skies are not helping my lethargy at all.\u00a0 Can I just declare today to be national \u201cMom Needs a Nap Day\u201d?\u00a0 No?\u00a0 You\u2019re no fun.<\/p>\n
My eldest son must be feeling it, too.\u00a0 He just can\u2019t keep his mind on school this afternoon.\u00a0 Every time I glance in his direction he\u2019s either daydreaming or has wandered off.\u00a0 How much trouble would I be in if I just tied him to his chair until he finally finished?\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 14 year old is dragging her way through her last chapter of Algebra II.\u00a0 Who can blame her? Except\u2026.can you just finish it already?\u00a0 We have other things to do.\u00a0 Fun things.\u00a0 Summer is almost here things.<\/p>\n
Instead it\u2019s nasty and cold outside and we all just want to hibernate.\u00a0 I can see the end of the school year.\u00a0 It\u2019s so close\u2026..I can almost taste the freedom and the lazy days.\u00a0 It\u2019s just not close enough.\u00a0<\/p>\n
